Metro Emergency Overflow Shelter

Metro Nashville Office of Homeless Services operates an overflow shelter when the temperature drops below 32 degrees for 3 hours or more. Community members are encouraged to use long-term shelters before seeking the emergency overflow shelter.

Shelter is available to single adults, couples, young adults, registry participants, and pet owners. No children allowed.

Transportation is available using WeGo Route 23B or via the free shuttle service at one of their additional pick-up locations. Parking is also available at the shelter.

Pets are welcome; kennels provided. Services include hot meals, snacks, and mats/cots.
